Alabama Man Crushed In Train Accident

In a freak derailment train accident on June 25, 2009, the conductor of an Alabama train was crushed to death. He had been a train conductor for the last four years before the train accident took his life.

The police investigating the train accident are still attempting to determine what exactly happened. According to reports, the conductor was on a train car toward the back of the train where some older rail cars were being backed up. The train then derailed and crushed the man between one of the rail cars and some scrap metal nearby.

Police say that the train was only traveling at about 3 mph when the accident occurred, making the man's wrongful death even more odd. Train accidents can be very complex events, which is why anyone involved in one should contact a train accident attorney to ensure their rights are upheld.

This train accident was made even more complex because it occurred on private property. As a result, the property owners might be at fault if they did something to the railroad that caused the derailment.
