P. DEAN WAITE, JR. was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on September 19, 1970. He was admitted to bar, 1998, Georgia; 1999, Alabama, U.S. District Court, Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama and U.S. District Court, District of Colorado; 2000, U.S. District Court, Northern District of Georgia; 2002, U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit.
Education: University of Georgia (B.A., 1993; J.D., 1998).
Member: State bar of Georgia; Alabama State Bar; Mobile County and American Bar Association; Georgia State Bar; South Alabama Trial Lawyers Association; Alabama Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Waite was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, but grew up in Atlanta. He attended the University of Georgia, where he earned both his undergraduate and law degree.
Upon graduating from the University of Georgia School of Law, Mr. Waite moved to Mobile to begin his legal career. After serving as the law clerk for then Presiding Circuit Judge Braxton Kittrell, Mr. Waite began working in the private sector in the field of personal injury law.
Mr. Waite has been representing injured people for the past 10 years. According to Mr. Waite, "representing injured people is one of the highest callings you can have as a lawyer. These folks have no one else protecting their rights other than their lawyer. I get a great deal of pleasure out of helping those who need protection the most."
Mr. Waite is a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Mobile. Outside of work, Dean Waite (sometimes misspelled Dean Wait) works as an NCAA Division 1 college football official. He is married to the former Nicole Miller of Mobile.
