After attending local Spring Hill College, he attended the prestigious law school of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Long returned to his native Mobile, where he began working as a defense lawyer representing insurance companies and big corporations.
After seeing the horrible manner in which these companies treated injured people, Mr. Long's conscience compelled him to switch sides and begin representing the individuals who had been injured. Since then, Earle Long (sometimes misspelled Earl Long) has been representing personal injury victims. According to Mr. Long, "representing individuals is such a rewarding way to practice law. I never get tired of seeing how excited our clients are when we hand them a big settlement check." His inside experience as a defense lawyer has helped him better represent victims of corporate actions, such as those hurt by Defective Products, Defective Drugs, and Insurance Bad Faith.
Mr. Long is a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mobile. Outside of work, Mr. Long is an avid outdoorsman and conservationist.
